New York

The New York Chapter of the WWCDA provides a forum for experienced women white collar defense lawyers to gather and discuss issues of significance in the white collar field. We meet several times a year and also host events open to the public. Our members are partners and senior level lawyers who regularly practice white collar criminal and regulatory defense and have at least ten years of substantive experience.

The New York Chapter is chaired by Nicole W. Friedlander, a partner at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, and Theresa Trzaskoma, a partner at Sher Tremonte LLP. We also have a Secretary, Amanda Shami, an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Social Media Coordinator, Ilene Jaroslaw, Partner at Phillips Nizer LLP, and Program Coordinator, Jillian Berman, Partner at Lankler Siffert & Wohl LLP.

We have partnered with the New York City Bar Association’s Women in the Legal Profession Committee and serve as its subcommittee. We hold our meetings at the City Bar. If you are interested in becoming a member of the New York Chapter, you will also need to become a member of the City Bar Subcommittee. You can apply online through the City Bar’s website, or you can email Amanda Shami directly at shamia@sullcrom.com.
