Houston

The Houston chapter of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association was launched in May 2015. The membership includes women lawyers and legal consultants in Houston whose primary practice area is white collar criminal and government enforcement defense.

Houston is the fourth largest city in the U.S. and is home to a population of more than 2.2 million people. Houston’s economy has a broad industrial base in the energy, aeronautics, and technology industries. Known as the energy capital of the world, the city is home to 26 Fortune 500 companies, the second most in the nation, and the world’s largest medical center. Thus, the women in the WWCDA are diverse and our backgrounds varied.

The local Houston group plans to meet three to four times a year hosting social networking events as well as informational programs and CLEs. The Houston chapter seeks to provide regular opportunities for women attorneys and legal consultants in Houston to build, broaden, and deepen their network of professional contacts and referral sources among women and their male colleagues to leverage contacts around the country and around the world to build business.
